At Kaam24, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
1. Information Collection
We collect what you give us when you use Kaam24: your name, your mobile number (used to log in with a one-time password), your email if you add one, and your profile photo. Service partners also give business details, business photos and an Aadhaar document for verification.
2. Automatic Data Collection
With your permission we use your device location to show nearby professionals and distances, and a push notification token so we can send you enquiry and plan updates. We also receive basic device and usage information such as app version and IP address.
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data to log you in, show nearby professionals, send enquiries to partners, notify you about enquiries, plans and verification, process plan and Contact Plan payments, and improve Kaam24.
4. Profile Visibility
For service partners, your business name, photos, services, price list and area are shown to customers. Your phone number is shown to a customer when they contact you through the app or after you accept their enquiry.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
When a customer sends an enquiry, nearby partners in that category see the customer's first name, the service needed and the area. The customer's phone number is shared with a partner once the partner accepts. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, and understand how our Platform is used. You can manage cookie settings in your browser.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account in the app (Profile, then Delete My Account); this removes your profile and business data, apart from records we are legally required to keep.
9. User Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us specifically at kaam24India@gmail.com for any data-related requests.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
